The Live Oaks are a rapidly emerging Americana band from San Francisco. Led by a fiery and versatile singing drummer - Evan Lanam – they evoke the classic spirit of rock, mixed with soul, R&B and country songwriting foundations. Imagine Bob Dylan and The Band, mixed with CCR and a touch of Willie Nelson. They've got a swinging groove that wins over new fans with a natural ease. This band lights a fire under every type of audience and turns any night into a rollicking good time.
The group, lead by drummer/singer/songwriter Evan Lanam, has been touring extensively the last 3-4 years and have been opening for notable acts touring through the Bay Area as well as being a go-to source of classic rock entertainment for some of the Bay Area top companies. Recently helped sell out premier venues in San Francisco, both the Rickshaw Stop with Larkin Poe, and The Independent with Sweet Plot, and recently opened for Norman Greenbaum.
